Sr. Software Engineer Broker

Our team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to our mission of building the first autonomous transaction platform in the real estate space. Youll be responsible for developing, testing, deploying, and improving software while managing deliverables and working with a small, tight-knit team to build amazing products and features for our clients. Youll also foster innovation, invest in the growth of their peers, and engage with other SkySlope team members and teams to ensure the overall stability and quality of our engineering efforts.

What Youll Be Doing

• Managing project priorities, deadlines and deliverables in coordination with other team members and departments
• Actively participating in reviews of deliverables to ensure high quality and consistency
• Contributing to the overall architecture of systems
• Collaborating with peers in designing highly scalable systems
• Facilitating discussions around processes and solutions
• Contributing to technology decisions and sprint deliverables
• Collaborating with team members and other departments
• Assisting in resolving differences in tactics and/or approach, despite differing opinions and experiences
• Communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

As our next Senior Software Engineer, youll have full stack proficiency and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. Additionally, youll be an expert in the following:

• React
• JavaScript
• CSS
• HTML
• Rest APIs
• NoSQL
• Testing

While not required, youll stand out if you also have expertise in any of the following:

• API experience: C# OR Node OR both
• TypeScript
• Project lead type experience (breaking down and delegating tasks, etc.)
• SQL
• DevOps
