Youll contribute to data-centric backend services, thoughtful abstractions and APIs, and interactive experiences such as conversational agents and interpretive tools.Code data-intensive software and algorithmsnnn* Build platforms for driving intelligent decisions, interacting with machine learning models, and powering interactions such as conversational interfacesnn* Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, data analysts, software engineers, IT specialists, and stakeholders to expand effective use of AI applicationsnn* Research and prove out new approaches and algorithms through prototypesnn* Ensure high quality system delivery and continually improve workflows and methodsnnnnnWhat You Need to Get the Job Donennn* 5+ years of professional experience building data-centric software, as a machine learning engineer, AI specialist, software-focused data scientist, or similarnn* Track record as an engineer building for production, ideally with machine learning algorithms (typically Python), logic and platform services (especially in functional languages such as Clojure), and intelligent systems at scalenn* Demonstrated ability to interface data repositories / caches / pipelines, message queues, ML models, LLMs, and other services in cloud environments, especially AWSnn* Expertise with LLMs, prompt engineering, agent building, and vector databasesnn* Skill collaborating using cloud-based tooling, git, notebook systems, and ML workflowsnnnnnA strong contender will also demonstrate abilities to:nnn* Create strong technical designs with higher-order logic and clean data structuresnn* deptly use algorithms and approaches in AI, machine learning, and NLPnn* Research and evaluate emerging tools and technologiesnn* Improve workflows and MLOpsnn* Have productive interactions that lift the team and stakeholdersnnnnnBeyond the technical skills, were looking for individuals who are:nnn* Clear communicators (verbal and written)nn* Able to synthesize patterns and useful abstractionsnn* Conversant in underlying data structures, math, and algorithmsnn* Creative in finding relevant and novel approachesnn* Productive in a dynamic settingnn* If you love to learn, youll be in good company.
