As the Senior Financial Analyst youll join a team who steers decision making for Global financials at Jacobs. In this dynamic environment, youll navigate and overcome challenges, paving the way for you and your team to experience continued success and growth. Youll collaborate with the Senior Director of FP&A in support of Lines of Business (LOBs), Corporate Functions Finance organization and Investor Relations.

In this impactful role, youll:
  • Proactively shape and influence FP&A decision-making process by managing the analysis and reporting around key business drivers.
  • Convert monthly and quarterly detailed financial data into understandable reporting summaries, analysis, insights, and actionable recommendations to be used by business leaders
  • Support the monthly forecast process and annual budget plan process in a manner that drives and supports the strategic imperatives of the business, leveraging the documented forecast process and timelines.
  • Assist in monthly close process to ensure proper financials are reported. Including, but not limited to accruals, reclassification entries, variance analysis & other required reporting.
  • Participate in key business initiatives, prepare what if scenarios on certain business risk factors, break-even analysis, perform benchmarking and other ad-hoc projects as necessary.
  • Analyze, recommend & implement process improvement opportunities that enhance the efficiency of the Finance processes while also increasing the informative value of the content provided to Senior Leaders.
  • Respond to financial inquiries by gathering, analyzing, summarizing, and interpreting data for our business leaders.
  • Support LOBs and Functions during Quarterly Business Reviews and Quarterly Functional Reviews
  • Support Investor Relations with Quarterly earnings materials
  • Collaborate with the rest of the Corporate FP&A team to deliver on ESG growth as ESG becomes a distributed responsibility and part of everyones responsibility within FP&A

Typical salary range for this position is $88,700ย to $131,600ย and is commensurate with experience relative to the position. For remote positions, salary to be offered is geographic dependent.

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field
  • Well-rounded technical and analytical skills, balanced with sound business judgment
  • Strong project management skills and ability to work independently
  • Ability to develop new processes and systems and continually enhance existing ones
  • Ability to critically review data provided by partners to identify errors and improvement opportunities
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills and ability to engage effectively with stakeholders of all levels across the organization
  • Proven problem solving and time management skills, including ability to adapt and re-prioritize to meet changing business needs
  • Outstanding Excel and Microsoft Office skills
