Sounds like a match!nnnAbout usnWe are Brenger and were building a sustainable transportation platform that solves the inefficient way of transporting bulky goods by optimizing the utilization of every van on the road which reduces the CO2 emission along the way. Youll be joining a strong and diverse development team of 11 people (7 developers, 1 data scientist, 1 designer, 1 product owner, 1 QA engineer). Were light on meetings, our Scrum ceremonies are on a predefined schedule. We use GitLab for issue tracking (simplicity is a virtue), Slack+Google Meets for video calls, Slack for async communications. Email load is light for devs, meetings are banned on Wednesdays and Thursdays.nnnYour rolenDesign, develop and maintain a suite of integrations with third party services.nOperate the integrations (in a devops fashion), build resiliency, make sure looking after them is boring as possiblenCooperate with the internal development team to evolve the systems linked to your integrations.nThe ideal candidate is the type who enjoys the adventures of building resilient/antifragile software and takes pride in building good architectures while doing so.nnThe parts of the tech stack you would be working with:n* Microservices built with Python 3.8 and deployed on AWS Lambdan* A React web app for the embedded customer flowsn* Symfony 4-based core backend exposing a REST APIn* GitLab CI (along with most of GitLabs other partsnnWe have got a core backend (PHP 7.4) facilitating the general lifecycle of transports in cooperation with domain-oriented microservices (all Python 3.8) and React based frontends. We are now looking for someone who will build a solid suite of integrations mostly in Python, and is fluent in React+TypeScript (or equivalent) to be able to build the integration-specific GUIs along the way.nnThere are things we do not do, like unproductive merge/pull request discussions regarding coding standards and style which we avoid by enforcing them in CI. Instead, we always welcome improvements regarding architecture, programming, and operations practices: anything that strengthens our workflows.nnYour skillsn* 5+ years of experience using Python, React and TypeScriptn* Creating integrations with Rest APIsn* Competent using git and issue trackers in team workflowsn* Experience working in a remote teamn* Good English skills, both written and spokenn[Extra] Experience working in startupsn[Extra] Exposure to logistics and less-than-mainstream e-commerce protocolsnnWhat we offernAt Brenger we work hard every day to keep Brenger growing and we celebrate our successes, big and small.
