We are looking for a staff/ sr staff program manager to accelerate the delivery of our Science organization. You will be working with an extremely talented and ambitious team of ML, forecasting, data and energy scientists and researchers. As a key member of the program management team, you will play an active role in developing and implementing processes and tools that structure and organize the Science teams, collaborating cross-functionally to enable Science within product development, and developing research and incubation processes to accelerate innovation. nnWhat you will donnProject Managementnnn* Manage day-to-day responsibilities to keep the team organized by running meetings, tracking tickets and maintaining project plansnn* Communicate project updates, status and interface with senior stakeholdersnn* Identify and mitigate risks and blockersnn* Manage scope, resources and budget to deliver on time nnnnnStakeholder Managementnnn* Establish processes and tools to collaborate with the rest of the companynn* Act as the main point of contact for stakeholder requestsnn* Monitor and communicate updates to ensure timely delivery of requestsnn* Facilitate roadmap planning and prioritization through science driven initiatives and stakeholder collaborationnnnnnAccelerating Experimentationnnn* Collaborate with Product Management and Science leadership to implement opportunities to accelerate the pace of experimentationnn* Automate workflows and streamlining processes to reduce frictionnn* Leverage tools to optimize research and experimentations effortsnnnnnThe minimum qualifications youll neednnn* Passion for clean energy and fighting climate changenn* Bachelors degreenn* 5+ years in project/program management in a technical field. nn* Experience leading projects with technical teamsnn* Agile certified scrum master nn* Proven success working with all levels of managementnn* Experience building and implementing processes from scratchnn* Must be effective working in a fast-paced team environment and navigating ambiguitynn* Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently and as part of a groupnn* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills requirednn* Demonstrates creativity and independent thought when solving problemsnnnnnNice to have additional skillsnnn* Experience working with machine learning, scientific research or price forecasting teamsnn* Experience working in energy markets, battery optimization or power systemsnn* Experience working in financial trading (e.g. equities trading), and quantitative analysisnn* Experience working with fully remote teamsnn* Advanced degree or PMP certificationnn* Experience in developing platforms for internal processesnn* Experience with tools; Jira, Coda, Slack, Google Workspacennn nn#Salary and compensationn No salary data published by company so we estimated salary based on similar jobs related to Senior and Senior jobs that are similar:nn $60,000 $95,000/yearn nn#LocationnSan Francisco, California, United States
