About the OpportunitynnWe are seeking a skilled Solidity Engineer with a strong background in blockchain technology to join our dynamic team. This position plays a critical role as we continue to innovate and scale our blockchain platform. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing decentralized applications (DApps) and smart contracts for our new EVM chains. Your expertise will drive the next generation of Kadena solutions, accelerating product development and providing transformative tools to our users.nnThis position reports directly to our Solutions Manager, offering opportunities for growth and impact within the role and the company.nHow You’ll Make An Impactnnn* Design, develop, and optimize scalable and secure smart contracts using Soliditynn* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new solutionsnn* Develop smart contracts with Ethereum-compatible protocols on Kadena’s layer 1 blockchainnn* Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of our solutionsnn* Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor non-solidity developersnn* Stay updated with emerging technologies and integrate them into solutionsnn* Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure software qualitynn* Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to the design of our infrastructurennnnWhat Sets You Apartnnn* 3-5 years of professional experience in software development with a focus on Solidity and smart contract developmentnn* Proven experience working with blockchain technologies, decentralized protocols, and consensus algorithmsnn* Solid understanding of software development principles, concurrency, and distributed systemsnn* Experience with functional programming languages and Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatibility is a plusnn* Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsnn* Excellent communication and teamwork abilitiesnn* A BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experiencennnnnKadena requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment.
