nThe Moonbeam Foundation is looking for an Ecosystem Development Manager to join the Foundation team to support and grow the Moonbeam ecosystem. Moonbeam is a layer-1 blockchain focused on interoperability use cases that offers an EVM-compatible environment for developing cross-chain scenarios. Moonbeam is also deployed as a parachain on Polkadot and serves as a key part of the Polkadot ecosystem. There are already many deployments on Moonbeam (see: https://www.dtmb.xyz/), and the purpose of this role is to facilitate the support and growth of this ecosystem.nnThe Ecosystem Development role is designed to be the relationship lead for development teams building applications on the Moonbeam platform. This includes pitching Moonbeam and its technology when teams are deciding which platforms to deploy to, coordinating support, resources, and integrations that third-party teams need to be successful, facilitating connections within the Moonbeam ecosystem, supporting teams through the grants, accelerator, VC, and other programs. In addition to supporting teams, a key responsibility will be to source and close new opportunities that bring usage and utility to Moonbeam.nnThe ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience in a technology sales, business development, or partnership relations role. Web3 experience including knowledge of Ethereum and DeFi is highly desirable, but not required. This role offers an opportunity for qualified candidates with strong backgrounds to enter the web3 space and to learn from a veteran and close-knit team.nnThe Moonbeam Foundation is a non-profit organization whose mission is to develop and grow Moonbeam as a decentralized network. Reach out to us if you are interested in helping to drive a multichain future, where blockchains interoperate with each other to enable new, software-native ways of creating value and coordinating people.nnnResponsibilitiesnnnnnWorking closely with collaborations and ecosystem teams that are developing and deploying software and protocols to Moonbeam.nnSourcing and evaluating new opportunities, teams, and use cases with an eye toward enhancing the Moonbeam ecosystem and driving Moonbeam utilization metrics and KPIs.nnManaging and prioritizing a pipeline of opportunities to ensure activity levels and goals are met. This may include outbound outreach to complement inbound lead sources.nnFacilitate introductions between ecosystem teams, and coordinate access to grants, accelerator, technical support, marketing, and other programs.nnContinuously learning web3 trends, technologies, protocols, and use cases.nnDevelop go-to-market strategies and programs with input from the Foundation leadership team and the community.nnEstablish and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders in the industry to be able to win new projects.nnAttending conferences and other events to network, identify new opportunities, and support teams in their deployment plans.nnCommunicate regularly and clearly, verbally and in written form, with other team members and also with other partners, vendors, and community members.nnNegotiate deals with partners, projects, and be able to carry the conversation with project founders of leading protocols.nnParticipate in public governance discussions if required for initiatives and partnerships.nnQuarterly and annual goal setting and tracking activity against commitments.nnArticulate the value of Moonbeam and the vision of the ecosystem long term.nnnnnnQualificationsnnnnnInterest in the web3 and blockchain space is required.nn3-5 years of experience selling a technical solution in a b2b environment is strongly preferred. But candidates with a background in sales, business development, or partner relations will also be considered.nnExperience selling developer-oriented infrastructure and products that target developers as the customer is highly desirable.nnKnowledge of Ethereum is highly desirable.nnKnowledge of DeFi is highly desirable.nnKnowledge of NFTs and web3 gaming is a plus.nnGood writing and communication skills with an ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and accessible way.nnAttention to detail while working well under pressure.nnUndergraduate degree required.nnn nn#LocationnWorldwide
