nAbout the role:nnAs a Web Developer on Samsaras Growth team, youll work with partners across marketing and design to develop world class web experiences. Youll work to create new pages, develop seamless content creation tooling and help ensure our web properties are optimized for performance, efficiency and scalability. Our ideal candidate has had experience creating responsive web pages from detailed file handoffs from designers (we use Figma!) and experience working on multi-language websites leveraging a headless content management platform. Sample URLs or Github sample projects are required to be considered.nIn this role, you will: nnnDeliver and maintain responsive content and integrations across Samsara web propertiesnnKeep our CMS (Contentful) current by developing content types and extensionsnnIncrease web scalability, user engagement, and traffic by determining and implementing the best web development standardsnnOptimize Samsara.com for performance and accessibilitynnBuild CMS workflows and architecture for translations, global site updates, and self-serve changesnnUnderstand the technical constraints of a project, and make pragmatic tradeoffs with stakeholdersnnCreate outstanding user experiences on both desktop and mobile by collaborating with peers across Design, Marketing and SEOnnChampion, role model, and embed Samsaras cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new officesnnnnnMinimum requirements for the role:nnn2+ years in a front-end development role, include portfolio or samples of past work and projectsnnFluent in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (JavaScript libraries like Nuxt, Next, Gatsby, Gridsome)nnExperience with Gulp, Sass, WebpacknnExperience developing sites with headless CMS platformsnnExperience accurately translating designs cross-browser for a variety of screen sizesnnExcellent organizational skills, communication and attention-to-detailnnExperience working with Figma or similar (Sketch and InVision)nnnnnAn ideal candidate also has:nnnExperience with multi-language sites and localizationnnExperience with Vue / NuxtnnFamiliarity with Github actionsnnExperience driving accessibility (A11y) testing and best practices across engineering and designnnExperience with JAMStack hosting platforms like AWS Amplify, Netlify, Vercelnnn nn#Salary and compensationn No salary data published by company so we estimated salary based on similar jobs related to React, Senior, Engineer, Backend, Python, Testing, JavaScript, Cloud, API, Sales, SaaS, Design, Mobile, Marketing and Digital Nomad jobs that are similar:nn $60,000 $120,000/yearn nn#LocationnSan Francisco, California, United States
