Every year, billions of dollars are wasted on ineffective and unmeasurable marketing campaigns Recast helps marketers measure the unmeasurable and save millions of dollars of marketing budget.nnWe’re hiring a marketing data scientist to work directly with clients and help us build the future of media measurement.nnWhat you’ll do in your first 6 months:nn- Onboard new clients onto Recast’s platform and work hand-in-hand with them to set priors, interpret their results, and plan experiments to validate the model.n- Implement complex statistical analyses of marketing data to help us improve Recast’s statistical internals and help clients improve their marketing efficiency.n- Develop libraries and patterns of analysis that we will use to help clients interpret and make use of their datannThings you probably have experience in:nn- Deep and complex use of Rn- Bayesian methods, with exposure to Stann- Causal inferencen- Marketing data science and media performance measurementn- Partnering directly with marketers to shape marketing budgets and structure testsnnThings that should excite you that might scare off other folks:nn- Working at the cutting edge of causal inference and computational statisticsn- Working directly with marketers on applying modeling result to marketing strategyn- Exploring the output of a model with over 30k parametersn- Contributing directly to product direction and business strategynnWe’re looking for our first full-time data scientist that can help us really expand the impact of Recast this is a great opportunity to participate in pushing the frontier of statistics and building the future of marketing data science.nnWhile Recast is officially based in the US, we’re a fully remote team (one founder lives in Brooklyn, the other in Mexico City).
